• Hohauser, 62, of Port Washington, is running on the Democratic, Republican and Conservative party lines in the general election.
• He has been a district court judge in Nassau County, 3rd district, since being elected in 2015.
• From 1987 to 2015, he was counsel and executive director for the brokerage arm of Morgan Stanley, and was an arbitrator for FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
• Hohauser received his undergraduate degree in economics and mathematics from SUNY-Binghamton in 1981, and his law degree from Columbia University School of Law in 1984.
