- D’Esposito, 39, of Island Park, is running on the Republican, Conservative and Tax Revolt party lines.
- He is running for his second four-year term as Hempstead Town councilman, a position he has held since 2016.
- Before joining the board, D’Esposito worked as a detective with the New York Police Department and as the chief of the Island Park Volunteer Fire Department.
