- Carrigan is an attorney with more than 30 years of experience and his own private law practice in Garden City that primarily focuses on personal injury and criminal defense.
- In 1990, Carrigan began work as an assistant district attorney for the Nassau County District Attorney’s office. He left to open a law office in 1993.
- He graduated with an undergraduate degree from Hofstra University in 1985, and a law degree from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 1989.
