BACKGROUND:

  • Ferretti, 38, of Levittown, was elected to the legislature in 2017. He is also running on the Conservative Party line. He has a bachelor's degree in political science and history from Hofstra University and a law degree from CUNY School of Law in Long Island City, Queens.
  • Ferretti is an associate trial attorney with the law firm of Nicolini, Paradise, Ferretti & Sabella in Mineola.
  • From 2010 to 2017, he served as the chief deputy county clerk of Nassau County and as liaison to the New York State Land Title Association

ISSUES:

  • Ferretti said that he "supports law enforcement," has "opposed any effort to defund the police," and "led the fight" to reopen the Nassau County 8th police precinct in Levittown.
  • Ferretti said he "supports programs designed to help veterans combat addiction" and that as a county legislator he "created a special revenue fund to help end the opioid epidemic."
  • Ferretti said that he has "worked to have more than 50% of the county roads in the 15th District repaired and/or repaved."
