- Amanda Field, 45, of Old Bethpage, is a real estate sales agent and a commissioner of the Plainview Water District. She is also running on the Working Families Party line.
- She is president of the Nassau Suffolk Water Commissioners' Association.
- She received her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University in communication design
ISSUES:
- Field said she wants to put the town's road studies and road rating system online and make them publicly available so residents can easily look up road repairs plans and their status.
- She said she wants to create councilmanic (geographically defined) districts for Town Board members to replace the current at-large system.
- She said she wants to remove elected officials names from signs on town parks and buildings and to cut down on town mailers.
