BACKGROUND:

  • Webster, 50, of East Marion, is seeking his fifth term on the Board of Assessors, where he currently serves as chair. He is a member of the NYS Assessors' Association and Suffolk County Assessors’ Association. He also is running on the Conservative line.
  • He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Ithaca College and is a New York state certified assessor and appraiser. He also is chief of the East Marion Fire Department.
  • Webster offers play-by-play narration for Greenport, Southold and Mattituck basketball games through his Webster Sports Network and also did live graduation broadcasts over Facebook in 2020 when people were unable to attend in person.
