- Graf, 63, of Holbrook is running on the Republican and Conservative party lines in the general election.
- He was elected a Suffolk County District Court judge in 2017.
- Graf was a member of the New York State Assembly in the 5th District from 2011 to 2017.
- Graf had a private law practice from 2007 to 2017 and worked for the Legal Aid Society from 2007 to 2010.
- Graf was a two-term supervisor in the upstate town of Brighton from 1991 to 1995 and a police officer with the NYPD from 1980 to 1989. Graf enlisted in the Navy in 1976 and earned the rank of Operations Specialist Third Class Petty Officer receiving an honorable discharge in 1980.
- Graf received a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Plattsburgh in 1998 and a law degree from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2002.
