BACKGROUND:
- McCabe, 55, served in the U.S. Army as a crew chief for the 67th Uniformed Division. He is also running on the Conservative Party line.
- McCabe attended Sewanhaka High School in Floral Park before he received an engineering degree from Southern Illinois University.
- McCabe is an active member of his church
ISSUES:
- McCabe said he would work to boost relations between members of the First Legislative District and law enforcement.
- McCabe said he would work to revitalize local downtown businesses.
- McCabe said he would vow not to vote for county budgets with tax increases.
