- A former Bronx assistant district attorney, Solages holds a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a law degree from Boston College Law School.
- He is an attorney with a private law practice based in Elmont
ISSUES
- Solages was a supporter of a plan for Nassau police officers to wear body cameras and has advocated for additional law enforcement reform initiatives.
- He helped secured funds to advance road repaving projects and traffic safety initiatives in Elmont, Valley Stream, Lawrence and Inwood.
- Solages wants to secure community benefits for Elmont residents who live near the New York Islanders’ new arena at Belmont Park.
