  • Bloom, 55, of Great River, is running on the Republican and Conservative party lines in the general election.
  • Since 2004, he has been an attorney for the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County Inc. in the pre-indictment felony bureau in Central Islip.
  • From 1997-2004, he was an assistant county attorney with the Suffolk County Attorney’s Office. He received his law degree from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 1996 and his bachelor’s degree from Union College Schenectady in 1988.
