- Kennedy, 65, of Nesconset has been a registered nurse for 30 years and certified drug and alcohol counselor. She managed a business and worked at a rehabilitation facility helping people with addiction.
- She is seeking her fourth term.
- She had worked as a legislative aide to former Suffolk County Legis. Donald Blydenburgh and her husband, current Suffolk Comptroller John Kennedy Jr., when he held the legislative seat.
ISSUES:
- Protecting taxpayers and opposing proposals to enact fees on the public.
- Preserving the Long Island environment.
- Increasing public safety and supporting police.
