BACKGROUND:
- Pironi, 33, of Brookville, is a real estate developer and the owner of Pironi Homes construction company. He is also running on the Tax Revolt Party line.
- He has a bachelor of science degree in architectural technology from New York Institute of Technology.
- Pironi serves on the Long Island Builders Institute board and is an associate board member of the Association for a Better Long Island. He is a member of the American Institute of Architecture and the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Chamber of Commerce.
ISSUES:
- Pironi said that if elected he will "resist any effort to defund the police," and will ensure police have "the resources they need to safely do their job."
- Pironi said he will work to make the county reassessment process "more fair, accurate and transparent."
- Pironi said he will support tax cuts for working class families and small businesses to aid recovery from "the financial burden brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic."
