BACKGROUND:

• Krupski, 61, of Cutchogue is seeking his fifth two-year term. He also is running on the Conservative Party line.
• Krupski is a fourth-generation farmer and owns and operates Krupski’s Pumpkin Farm in Peconic. He holds a bachelor's degree in plant science from the University of Delaware.
• He was previously a Southold Town trustee and Southold Town councilman, serving in Southold Town government from 1985 until 2012.

ISSUES:

• Wastewater treatment is important for Krupski. "It’s critical … that we are recharging the aquifer and treating it for all the impairments that go down the drain," he said.
• Constituent service is also a priority, he said.
• East End land preservation is a top issue, Krupski said. "We still have so much left to preserve and while we’ve done a great job, we have to continue the effort," he said.
