- Sabella, 62, of Lindenhurst, has been a financial adviser for 34 years and currently works for a company based in Melville.
- He is a member of the finance committee and pastoral council for Our Lady of Perpetual Help church in Lindenhurst.
- He has a bachelor’s degree in business from St. John’s University in Queens.
ISSUES:
- Sabella wants to establish council districts in the town so that each board member is "responsible to a specific set of constituents."
- He wants to increase transparency by posting notice of all nonemergency spending that is being put up for a vote at least 48 hours in advance.
- He would like to bring more awareness to residents about how to dispose of hazardous items and would create a special pickup day for pollutants such as paint.
