BACKGROUND:
- Brennan, who declined to give her age, of Amagansett, is running for her third term as town clerk. She is also running on the Republican and Conservative party lines.
- Brennan went to work for the Town of East Hampton in 1989, first starting in the town's sanitation district and then the tax receiver's office. She has worked in the town clerk’s office for more than 30 years.
- She is a graduate of Pierson High School in Sag Harbor.
ISSUES:
- Brennan said she wants to make more town records digitized.
- She added that she hopes to have the town clerk office become more accessible under the Americans with Disabilities Act for residents with disabilities.
