Saturday's Powerball jackpot has hit $300 million, the New York Lottery said.

The jackpot was originally set at $290 million after Wednesday's drawing, the 11th straight since June 22 without a winner. The $65 million jump since the last drawing is because of "brisk sales across all participating Powerball states," lottery officials said.

The lump-sum payment for Saturday is $172.7 million.

The last Powerball winning ticket was sold in Pennsylvania and had all five winning numbers, as well as the Powerball, good for a jackpot prize of $131 million. The winning numbers in that drawing were 13, 19, 23, 33, 57 and the Powerball number was 28.

Since? No one in 43 states, Washington, D.C., and the Virgin Islands has had the winning ticket, and the jackpot has grown by leaps and bounds.

Among the numbers drawn since June 22, No. 8 has come up three times. The numbers 1, 2, 9, 22, 29, 30, 38, 39, 40, 53, 58 and 59 have all been drawn twice.

The numbers 3, 6, 13, 14, 18, 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 31, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 40, 42, 44, 45, 46, 49, 51, 52, 54, 55 and 56 have each been drawn a single time.

Six has been the winning Powerball three times, with 4, 5, 7, 11, 16, 17, 27 and 33 also drawn as winning Powerballs.

The largest Powerball jackpot was $590.5 million, won in Florida in May 2013.

If no one matches all five numbers plus the Powerball Saturday, the jackpot will grow again.
