Presidents Day closings and transit schedules
Monday is Presidents Day. Government offices, courts, the financial markets and post offices are closed. Some Long Island school districts are in session. The Long Island Rail Road will operate on a holiday schedule. Off-peak fares will be in effect all day. Subways and buses will operate on a Saturday schedule.
