Rape suspect pleads not guilty

A 23-year-old Holbrook man pleaded not guilty Thursday to charges that he raped and robbed a Holtsville woman in October 2009, police said.
John Kluge, of Rachels Way, was arrested Wednesday and charged with first-degree rape and first-degree burglary, Suffolk police said. A judge in First District Court in Central Islip ordered Kluge held on $1 million cash bail.
Kluge robbed and assaulted the woman in her garage on Oct. 26 at about 6:30 a.m. as she prepared to leave for work, police said.
