Nassau County police are looking for a man they say robbed a woman at gunpoint in Massapequa.

Authorities said a 26-year-old woman was walking to her car in a parking lot at 5523 Merrick Road at 1:30 a.m. Friday when the suspect grabbed her. The man pointed a small revolver at her, police said, then demanded money and her cellphone.

The woman complied, then the man fled on foot, heading east on Merrick Road, police said. The woman did not suffer injuries.

Police said the suspect is about 6 feet tall, and he wore a black ski mask, black clothing, and appeared to wear black makeup under his eyes.
