An East Meadow woman was killed Monday and another driver was injured in an East Farmingdale car crash that shut down Route 110 in that area during evening rush hour, Suffolk police said.

Judith Stein, 75, was pronounced dead at the scene after the 3:15 p.m. crash, police said.

She was driving her Hyundai east on Avon Court in East Farmingdale and was trying to turn left onto northbound Route 110 when her car was hit by a Ford truck going south on Route 110, detectives said.

The Ford driver, Willie John Seegers, 25, of Bay Shore, was transported to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

First Squad detectives are continuing their investigation and asks anyone with information to call 631-854-8152.
