See the payrolls of 15 LI towns and cities in 2013... and what your town's employees made, too

Payroll totals across Long Island’s 15 towns and cities topped off at $692 million in 2013, signaling a 4.7 percent drop from $726.5 million in 2012.

A decline in employment in seven towns, including reductions of 50 or more personnel from Oyster Bay, Brookhaven and Islip plays a contributing role in the overall decrease. Overtime payouts also generally decreased throughout Long Island in 2013, with the exception of Long Beach, which saw a spike from 8.52 to 12.21 percent of total income this year.

Payroll salaries, including base pay, overtime pay and total pay for 20,248 individual workers across Long Island’s 15 towns and cities are listed from highest to lowest total pay rankings.

Topping the total pay list are members of the police force in Glen Cove, Long Beach, Southold and Oyster Bay. Glen Cove holds the top total pay and base pay listings with police lieutenant John W. Mandato at $491,371.35 total pay for 2013 and police sergeant Patrick Hall with a base pay of $214, 309.11.
