Services for Amber Costello, the North Babylon woman whose remains were found near Gilgo Beach in December, are scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday at the Lindenhurst Funeral Home, her sister Kim Overstreet said.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. preceding the funeral, Overstreet said Monday.

Costello's remains will then be sent down to North Carolina for a second memorial service, in Wilmington.

"That's where she grew up, that's where she went to school," Overstreet said. "That's where her family is, her father. That's her community and where she will be buried next to my mother," who died in 2004.

Costello was one of four women, all whom police said worked as prostitutes, whose remains were found near Gilgo Beach in December - possibly the work of a serial killer who targeted women who advertised online, police said.

The families of Melissa Barthelemy and Megan Waterman have held funerals in the past week.

Funeral information for Maureen Brainard-Barnes was unavailable.

Police said Tuesday that the investigation was ongoing.
