Southampton woman faces DWI charges
A Southampton woman stopped for speeding Sunday morning in Water Mill faces charges of driving while intoxicated, Southampton Town police said.
Cecilia Gates, 41, was speeding on Montauk Highway, police said, at about 2:15 a.m. when she was pulled over.
Police said in a news release she was "found to be intoxicated" and was arrested.
Gates was being held for arraignment in Southampton Town Justice Court, police said.
