Staged reading of Wilson book at library
The Kingston Library will hold a staged reading of Tona Wilson's book "Stories Behind Bars" at 6 p.m. April 18.
"Stories Behind Bars," which is being presented as part of the library's ongoing "Book On Its Feet" performance series, was inspired by Wilson's experiences as a Spanish interpreter in U.S. courts.
The free production will feature performances by students and teachers from Kingston High School and Bard College, along with members of the Kingston community. The April 18 production of "Stories Behind Bars" will be directed by Chris Silva, executive director of Bardavon UPAC Theater.
