Nassau detectives arrested a Copiague woman serving a sentence in the Suffolk jail Tuesday and charged her in an unrelated identity theft case in Nassau, authorities said.

Lori Furlow, 50, of Pinelawn Avenue was arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead Tuesday on second-degree grand larceny and first-degree identity theft charges, police said.

Police accuse her and a co-defendant of stealing the identity of a 34-year-old Wantagh woman in January 2013 and using her personal information to purchase two cars and open credit card accounts.

The other defendant, Cynthia Sibert, 24, of Grove Street in Hempstead was arraigned in July 2013 on the same charges. One of the vehicles police said was stolen was recovered at Sibert's home.
