Tens of thousands of T-Mobile users have reported disruptions to their service Monday afternoon.
A couple hundred reports of service issues were reported just before 4 p.m. to downdetector, an online tracker of telephone, internet and other services. On hour later, the number of reports surpassed 62,000.
The telephone provider said teams are "actively working the reports of technical challenges impacting some customers."
"Any service impacts are in the process of being resolved and are our highest priority," a T-Mobile spokesperson said in a Monday evening email to Newsday. "We know how critical it is to stay connected, and every available resource is focused on resolving this as quickly as possible."
