Teen hit by car crossing 110 in East Farmingdale
A 17-year-old Manorville resident was critically injured when she was hit by a car this morning while crossing Route 110 in East Farmingdale with a group of friends.
Natali DiMaio, of Wading River Road, is in critical condition at Nassau University Medical Center, police said.
DiMaio was struck at 12:08 a.m. by a Nissan Altima driven by a Brooklyn man, police said. The Altima had a green light, police said.
The driver of the Altima will not face charges, police said. The accident remains under investigation, and the Altima was impounded for a safety check, police said.
