Accident closes SSP at exit 14

An accident on the Southern State Parkway has closed all eastbound lanes at exit 14, North Fletcher Avenue in Valley Stream.
Traffic is being diverted at Central Avenue, exit 13. The New York State Department of Transportation urges drivers to seek an alternate route.
Cameras reveal traffic is backed up all the way to the Cross Island Parkway and the Belt Parkway in Queens.
