NICE’s summer bus service to Jones Beach returns Saturday, in time for the annual Bethpage Air Show, transit officials said.

Service on the Nassau Inter-County Express’ N88 route, which runs between the Long Island Rail Road’s Freeport station and Jones Beach, will operate from 8:30 a.m. through 9 p.m. Saturday through Monday. NICE will begin daily service on June 25, running through Labor Day.

The buses run every 30 minutes and stop at the beach’s two bath houses and the Central Mall. A one-way fare costs $2.75. Cash, Metropolitan Transportation Authority MetroCards and NICE’s GoMobile payment app are accepted.

NICE last summer discontinued its N87 route, which traveled between the Hicksville LIRR station and Jones Beach, as well as special return service on the N88 after concerts at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater.
