Overturned truck closes most LIE westbound lanes in Medford

Multiple westbound lanes are closed on the Long Island Expressway due to an overturned truck, according to Suffolk police.

Officers responded to a call of an overturned truck near Exit 65 connecting to Horseblock Road in Medford at 3:39 p.m. on Tuesday, according to a Suffolk County Police Department spokesperson.

The left lane of the highway remains open, while the center and right lanes are closed due to the incident, according to the spokesperson. Information regarding injuries was not immediately available.
