LIRR: Ronkonkoma Branch on or close after switch trouble
The LIRR's Ronkonkoma Branch was operating on or close to schedule just in time for the Tuesday evening rush after switch trouble near Deer Park had caused earlier delays, the railroad said.
The Long Island Rail Road posted on its web site early in the afternoon that the delays were averaging 15 to 20 minutes.
Service was on or close as of about 3:45 p.m., the LIRR said.
