A person was struck and killed by a Long Island Rail Road train between the Wyandanch and Deer Park stations Wednesday night, MTA officials said.

The LIRR train was heading from Penn Station to Ronkonkoma when it struck the individual at 8:21 p.m., officials said.

The incident led to delays on the Ronkonkoma line. Trains were running on schedule Thursday morning.
