LIRR service on Port Washington Branch resumes after vehicle crashes into bridge

The Long Island Rail Road was reporting delays on it's Port Washington Branch after the line was partially suspended Monday.
The branch was suspended between Great Neck and Port Washington after a vehicle struck an LIRR bridge near Plandome, the railroad reported. It has resumed full service, according to its website.
The 9:07 a.m. train from Port Washington to Penn Station was operating 10-15 minutes late following the earlier incident at Plandome, the raiload said.
Previously, all train service was operating to and from Great Neck, the LIRR reported.
NICE Bus is honoring LIRR tickets on the N21 and N23 buses for service between Port Washington, Plandome, Manhasset and Great Neck.
