Regular service on the LIRR's Ronkonkoma branch had resumed Thursday following delays earlier after a person was struck on the tracks east of Bethpage station.

A railroad spokesperson said the condition of the person struck was not immediately known, but said the incident occurred around 11 a.m. The MTA Police are investigating.
