LIRR: Service on or close after earlier signal troubles
Long Island Rail Road service is on or close to schedule after service was disrupted in both directions between Jamaica and Atlantic Terminal due to earlier signal trouble Wednesday.
The trouble near Atlantic Terminal, as well as signal trouble west of the Woodside Station, temporarily suspended service about 4:17 p.m., the LIRR said in a notice to customers. It was restored about 5:30 p.m.
NYC Transit is no longer cross-honoring LIRR tickets.
