At the Jamaica Railroad Station in Jamaica Queens, there were some Westbound train delays because of reported signal problems on the Am-Track lines, causing passengers to get off at the Jamaica Station stop and board a different train heading to Penn Station. LIRR commuters should be prepared for delays Wednesday morning on all trains going to Penn Station.

According to the MTA, an Amtrak signal problem in a tunnel at Penn Station is responsible for the delays of up to 25 minutes.

The Long Island Rail Road website currently shows "delays" status for every line.

Commuters are being warned that some trains between Jamaica and Penn Station are being canceled, while others are being diverted to Atlantic Terminal in Brooklyn.

Subway and bus service at Jamaica will honor LIRR fares, according to the MTA.
