The Long Island Rail Road said there will be limited overnight service this weekend between Jamaica and Atlantic Terminal.

There will be no service during three-hour periods while workers replace rails in East New York from 10:45 p.m. to 1:45 a.m., starting at 10:45 p.m. Saturday and finishing at 1:45 a.m. Monday, the railroad said.

In addition, on Sunday, trains to and from Atlantic Terminal will run every hour between 5 a.m. and 10:45 p.m. instead of every 30 minutes, the LIRR said.

The railroad urged riders to plan ahead for a similar limit to service the weekend of March 30 and 31.
