The northbound lanes of the Meadowbrook State Parkway reopened Tuesday afternoon, after a car fire closed them to traffic for about three hours, State Police said.

A two-car crash and the ensuing car fire occurred about 1 p.m., and officials closed the parkway’s northbound lanes at Exit M3, Stewart Avenue, police said. The road was reopened around 4:20 p.m.

No injuries were reported, according to police.
