The LIRR was on or close to schedule after a power outage at Penn Station, railroad officials said.

Service between Jamaica and Penn stations was suspended for about 10 minutes at 8:40 a.m., the Long Island Rail Road said in service advisories. Trains were delayed in both directions up to 20 minutes and multiple trains were canceled. NYC Transit briefly cross-honored tickets.

Trains were back to schedule by 9:50 a.m.
