Headed to the airport and have questions about security checkpoint wait times, parking availability, airport amenities or in need of other real-time travel information?

The Port Authority said a new overhaul of its airport websites means air travelers flying through Kennedy, LaGuardia, Newark Liberty and New York Stewart International can now access "purpose-built artificial intelligence" information related to all facets of their trips.

There’s even "customizable lists" of airport concessions.

In a statement this week announcing the website updates and upgrades, the Port Authority said its four airport websites have been "completely rebuilt" in order to "prioritize the user experience," adding enhanced customized designs based on usage analytics.

Got a question on fastest travel from where you are to a specific terminal? The new websites can tell you. Want to know if you can get wheelchair assistance for a travel companion? The new websites can help you there too.

Need to catch a bite before your flight? The new sites have you covered.

In fact, the Port Authority said each AI assistant embedded in airport websites was unique to that airport, providing what it described as "information only relevant to that airport" that, help avoid confusion while limiting "information overload" for travelers.

"Having a virtual assistant embedded into our airport websites gives travelers an easy one-stop shop for their questions about a particular airport, which is what digitally savvy travelers expect from their online search experiences," Port Authority Chairman Kevin O’Toole said in a statement, adding: "A truly useful website and web search shouldn’t require multiple click-throughs and endless scrolling."

In a statement, Port Authority Executive Director Kathryn Garcia said: "Our new airport websites make it easier to find information when you need it, without an online scavenger hunt that may or may not be updated."

The Port Authority notes Kennedy is in the midst of a $19 billion transformation that will include two new large terminals, two renovated terminals and a new roadway network to speed pickups and drop-offs at one of the nation’s busiest international airports.

The 2020 renovation of LaGuardia has led it to receiving multiple national and international awards, among them the coveted 2021 Prix Versailles from UNESCO recognizing LaGuardia as the best new airport in the world, the authority wrote.
