Port Washington Branch service restored following suspension due to broken rail, LIRR says
Service on the Long Island Rail Road's Port Washington Branch was restored Saturday following a brief suspension due to a broken rail near Bayside, the rail road said on Twitter.
The first westbound train was set to depart Port Washington at 12:43 p.m. The first eastbound train was expected to leave Penn Station at 1:18 p.m., the rail road said.
