Two buses, one of them carrying Chaminade High School students, collided Friday morning in Rockville Centre at the intersection of Hempstead Avenue and Richmond Road, Rockville Centre fire department officials said.
Most of the students were being taken to Chaminade, in Mineola, where they will be evaluated by the school nurse, the officials said. One student who was at a bus stop was injured by debris, the officials said.
No further information on the accident, which occurred before 7:30 a.m. Friday, was immediately available from the Rockville Centre police.
