A man was seriously injured on Thursday afternoon after his vehicle struck another car, also injuring the two occupants of that vehicle, in West Babylon, Suffolk County police said.
Around 3:25 p.m., a 68-year-old Babylon man was driving a 1966 Chevrolet south on Little East Neck Road when he crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a 2011 Chrysler.
The man was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip for treatment of serious injuries, police said.
The 62-year-old driver of the Chrysler and her 18-year-old niece were also taken to the same hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
