Two more men have been arrested in connection with the shooting of a 16-year-old girl who was walking with friends on a Hempstead street in April.

Nassau County police said Marlon Douglas, 20, of 207 Wellesley St., Hempstead, and Todd Davis, 17, of 16 St. James Place, Rockville Centre, were arrested Thursday, charged with first-degree assault.

Two Hempstead teens - Daniel Duke, 17, of 217 Amherst St., and Antoine Redfern, 16, of 177 Henry St. - were arrested in April.

Redfern was charged with two counts of first-degree assault, first-degree criminal use of a firearm, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree reckless endangerment. Duke was charged with first-degree assault. Both were due back in court Friday.

Davis and Douglas were scheduled for arraignment Friday in First District Court in Hempstead.

Police said the four were involved in the shooting April 25 at 1:20 a.m. on Baldwin Road.

Police said the girl, who was walking with several friends, was shot by a male who "appeared from behind a house and fired several rounds at them from an unknown type of weapon." The girl was struck in the abdomen and admitted to a hospital in serious condition. Police did not provide details about her recovery Friday.
