Wanted: Arson suspect; pocketbook theft
Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department's Arson Bomb Squad are looking for leads in connection with the arson of a home and a vehicle in Freeport.
According to police, at 2:55 a.m. on Oct. 13 Molotov cocktails were thrown at a residential home on Lena Avenue in Freeport, resulting in fire damage to the home and a vehicle.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Sixth Squad detectives are looking for a suspect a suspect in the theft of a pocketbook from a customer at a Centereach store.
According to police, at 3:35 p.m. on Nov. 4 a customer was shopping in Walmart in the Centereach Mall when a woman took her pocketbook from the basket of the electric scooter the victim was using.
The suspect is described as having blonde hair and a thin build. She was wearing sunglasses, a red shirt and black pants. She fled in a dark-colored Jeep.
