Wanted: Bank robbery; theft at store
Nassau County police and its Crime Stoppers department are looking for two men wanted in connection with a robbery at a bank in Woodbury.
Police say at 4 p.m. on Dec. 4 two male suspects entered the Capital One Bank at 8285 Jericho Tpke. One suspect approached a teller, demanded money and pointed a gun while the second suspect stood near the customer service desk displaying a gun. The teller handed the first suspect an undetermined amount of money. After getting the cash, both suspects then fled on foot. The first suspect is described as being 5-foot-8, 35 to 40 years old, and with a thin build and brown hair. He was wearing a dark jacket, jeans, white baseball cap and sunglasses.
The second suspect is described as being about 6 feet tall, 35 to 40 years old, and having a stocky build. He was wearing a blue jacket with white sleeves, blue jeans, white sneakers, a blue cap and sunglasses.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Sixth Precinct Crime Section are looking for a man in connection with the theft of items from a Selden store.
Police say that at 8:15 p.m. on Nov. 27, a male suspect entered the Bob's Stores at 15 College Plaza, and allegedly stole two pairs of Timberland work boots. The suspect is described as being 5-foot-11 and in his late 20s with short brown hair. He was wearing a dark jacket and jeans. He fled in a white construction van, which was missing the rear license plate. The van had a red ladder on its roof.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000.00 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS (8477). All calls will be kept confidential.
