Wanted: Bank robbery; theft at store
Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department Robbery Squad are looking for a man wanted in connection with a bank robbery in East Garden City.
Police say that at 2:45 p.m. on Jan. 22 the suspect entered Citibank at 600 Old Country Rd., carrying a bag. He approached a teller, displayed a robbery note and made verbal demands. He also brandished a handgun which had been concealed in the bag. He then placed the money in the bag and fled. The suspect is described as being in his mid 40s, 5-foot-8 and of average build. He was wearing a black baseball cap, sunglasses, a blue jacket, black pants and a tan sweater.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Second Precinct Crime Section are looking for a man wanted in connection with the theft of a baby monitor from a South Huntington store.
Police say that at 2:05 p.m. on March 22, the suspect entered Buy Buy Baby at 350 Rte. 110 and took a Summer color video baby monitor valued at $269. He fled the scene in a delivery truck and is described as being in his 20s, about 160 pounds with a beard and black hair. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt under a black jacket, with khaki pants.
