Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are looking for a woman wanted in connection with two attempted grand larceny incidents at banks in Manhasset and Great Neck.

According to police, between 10:45 a.m. and 11:50 a.m. on June 20, a woman entered HSBC bank branches on Middle Neck Road in Great Neck and on Northern Boulevard in Manhasset. In both instances the suspect attempted to make unauthorized withdrawals of more than $4,000 from two accounts using fraudulent identification. In one case, the suspect used a fake Connecticut driver's license. The woman is described as being in her late 20s and 5-foot-8 with a slender build and dark brown hair.

Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are looking for a man wanted in connection with the theft of sunglasses from a South Huntington store.

According to police, at 12:30 p.m. on July 2, a man entered Sunglass Hut in the Walt Whitman Shops at 160 Walt Whitman Rd., and took eight pairs of sunglasses, valued at nearly $2,500. The brands of sunglasses were Gucci, Burberry and Dolce & Gabbana.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS (8477). All calls will be kept confidential.
