Wanted: Identity theft; stolen credit card

Crime Stoppers, the Nassau County Police Department, and the Garden City Police Department are looking for a suspect in connection with an identity theft at a Garden City Park bank.

Police say that on July 15, a homeowner on John Street in Garden City reported that their personal information was fraudulently obtained.

Later, a woman entered Sperry Credit Union at 2400 Jericho Tpke. and allegedly attempted to obtain a $30,000 loan using the homeowner's information.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Fourth Squad detectives are looking for a suspect in connection with the fraudulent use of a credit card at a gas station in Ronkonkoma.

According to police, on May 13 a woman entered the BP gas station at 85 Church St. and used a credit card which had been reported stolen earlier that day from a 2009 Toyota parked at Retro Fitness on Portion Road in Lake Ronkonkoma.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS (8477). All calls will be kept confidential.
