Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are looking for a suspect in connection with a burglary at a Uniondale grocery store.

According to police, at 11:56 p.m. on Feb. 6, a man unlawfully entered Uniondale Food Corp. at 294 Uniondale Ave., and took $300 in U.S. currency. Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at its toll-free and confidential hotline: 800-244-TIPS (8477), Crime Stoppers Unit Case No. 51-13. Crime Stoppers offers up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Police Department's Fourth Squad detectives are looking for a suspect in connection with a purse snatching at a Kings Park bar.

Police say that at 3 a.m. on Jan. 1, a man took a white Coach purse from a patron at Celtic Bar at 83 Pulaski Rd. The purse contained car keys and a wallet with credit cards and cash. The alleged victim's Nissan Altima was also stolen from the bar's parking lot but was recovered a short time later.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at its toll-free and confidential hotline: 800-220-TIPS (8477).
